In my sophomore year of high school, my family and I traveled across the pond to the United Kingdom for a 2-week trip. We landed at Heathrow International Airport and eventually made our way all the way up to the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Throughout the trip there were many highs and lows. From having little to no sleep because of time change and my dad’s obnoxious snoring, to learning just how much I loved Scotland and the drive to go back again one day. If I could go back and relive one day from that trip, I would go back and experience driving around the most rural areas of the Highlands. If there was one thing that I could eat again from that trip it would be beans on toast and a lobster bisque. One thing that I would love to visit on my next trip to United Kingdom would be Harry Potter World as well as head over to Ireland and Glasgow. All in all, the United Kingdom has a special place in my heart. And I hope and pray that I can return very, very soon.
